Lot 106: Vintage Hazelle's Clown Marionette in Box

Description

A wonderful vintage Hazelle's Marionette clown puppet, complete with its original box, control bar, and printed instruction pamphlet. Made by Hazelle's Marionettes of Kansas City, Missouri, this jointed clown features a painted composition/wood head with a cheerful expressive face, a red ruffled collar, and a colorful yellow patterned costume with diamond and square print. The puppet retains its original control strings and wooden black-painted control bar. The included box lid features printed operating directions, and a separate original Hazelle's Marionettes advertising pamphlet is also included. A fantastic find for collectors of vintage marionettes, puppet theater memorabilia, mid-century toys, or clown collectibles.

Condition: Overall good vintage condition with wonderful original packaging intact. Box shows expected wear, edge softening, and toning consistent with age; costume fabric shows light soiling/handling wear. Strings appear present but please examine closely for any tangling, fraying, or breaks before use/display. We do our best to note visible flaws, but some imperfections may not be captured.
