Vintage precision drafting compass by Charvoz, model 11-2287, housed in its original fitted case. This is an adjustable proportional divider/compass with a sliding scale marked for "Lines" and "Circles," allowing the user to set proportions for enlarging or reducing drawings, a staple tool for draftsmen, engineers, and architects in the pre-digital era. The instrument is constructed of brushed steel/nickel-plated metal with fine pivot adjustment and knurled locking screws.
