Description

Hand-thrown American studio pottery pitcher, featuring a rich dark brown glaze with a golden-amber drip band around the shoulder, a wide pulled spout, and a substantial loop handle. The exposed stoneware foot ring and freeform, hand-finished shaping are characteristic of American studio ceramics, where individual throwing marks and glaze variation are valued as part of the piece's handmade character. Unmarked, but consistent in form and glaze style with mid-to-late 20th century American studio work. A practical, usable piece as well as a decorative one. Measures approximately 5.5" H x 5.5" L x 4" W.

Condition:

Good condition overall. Glaze is glossy and intact throughout with expected small pitting/specking from the firing process. No chips, cracks, or losses noted. Please review photos closely; we do our best to catch all flaws but small imperfections can be missed.
