Lot 201: Wade Whimsy Monkey & Scandi Pottery Owl, Mini Lot

Charming mixed lot of two miniature figurines: a Wade Whimsy porcelain figure of a seated orangutan or monkey with tortoiseshell-glazed brown and cream mottling, marked "Made Eng." on the base, and an unmarked stoneware owl in a simple rounded Scandinavian pottery style, with large white-ringed eyes and spotted breast feathers rendered in white glaze dots. Wade Whimsies are a beloved English collectible line first introduced in the 1950s, prized by collectors for their small scale and detailed glazing, while the pairing with a minimalist pottery owl makes for a fun, whimsical little grouping. Owl measures approximately 1.25" H x 1.5" W x 2" L; Wade figure is proportionally smaller.

Condition:

Good vintage condition. Wear commensurate with age. Glaze intact on both pieces with no chips or cracks noted. Please review photos closely; we do our best to catch all flaws but small imperfections can be missed.
