Vintage seltzer/soda siphon bottle ("sifón de soda") with a glass body encased in a protective aluminum sleeve, pierced with rectangular cutout windows that reveal the deep green glass beneath. Fitted with its original brass syphon head, lever-action dispensing arm, and spout. The aluminum casing is engraved "SIFFREDI, PERDRIEL 1467" along with a registration/lot number, referencing an Argentine soda-water bottler (Perdriel is a locality in Mendoza Province, Argentina), while the brass collar at the neck is stamped "ACOSTA H..., AREQUITO," referencing Arequito, a town in Santa Fe Province, Argentina — indicating this bottle circulated through the refillable-siphon soda-delivery system common in Argentina and other parts of South America and Europe through the mid-20th century, where bottles were owned by regional bottlers and refilled repeatedly.
