Small hand-thrown stoneware bud vase with a rounded body and flared trumpet neck, decorated in a speckled rust-red and cream glaze with a vertical resist-stripe pattern encircling the body. The base bears an incised cursive signature, identifying it as the work of an individual studio potter, though the signature isn't clearly legible and a specific name isn't confirmed. Measures 2 1/2" tall. A nice small decorative piece for studio pottery collectors.
