Lithographed tin box, rectangular with rounded corners, in a Victorian-revival pattern of red, teal, and gold scrollwork bands. Center medallion on lid depicts a woman in profile holding a covered cake dish. Sides lettered "HOSTESS FRUIT HOLIDAY CAKE." Base stamped in a circular mark "METAL PACKAGE CORP. OF NEW YORK."
