Description

Bing & Grøndahl porcelain pitcher in the classic Seagull (Måge) pattern, featuring soft blue-gray gulls in flight against a graduated blue-to-white ground, gilt trim, and a scalloped, scale-embossed rim. The handle is formed as a stylized dolphin or fish head with gilt detailing, a whimsical touch typical of B&G's decorative tableware. Marked on the base with the B&G Copenhagen tower backstamp, "Denmark," and pattern number 84. Bing & Grøndahl, founded in 1853, is one of Denmark's most celebrated porcelain manufacturers, and the Seagull pattern remains a favorite among collectors of Scandinavian ceramics for its soft palette and coastal charm. Measures approximately 6.75" H x 6" L x 4.75" W.

Condition:

Good vintage condition. Wear commensurate with age, with light gilt wear consistent with handling and use (see photos). No chips or cracks noted. Please review photos closely; we do our best to catch all flaws but small imperfections can be missed.
