A complete set of four white porcelain baby figurines from "The Four Aches" (Danish: "de 4 Piner") series by Bing & Grøndahl of Denmark, modeled by Svend Lindhart, marked "Made in Denmark" with model number 2208 visible on the underside. The series depicts a toddler experiencing four different childhood complaints, toothache, tummy ache, earache, and headache, each rendered with the same candid, naturalistic charm in a smooth, glossy blanc-de-chine style glaze without added color. The series has remained a popular and recognizable line among collectors of Scandinavian porcelain since its production in the mid-20th century, prized for its gently humorous, true-to-life observation of childhood.
